Position Statement on proposed cuts to New York State Museum

On 8 July 2011, MAC President George Milner sent this letter to Chancellor Merryl H. Tisch of the New York State Board of Regents concerning the announcement of layoffs of several key scientists at the New York State Museum. The MAC Board has requested that Chancellor Tisch reconsider these planned layoffs.
