subjects. MCJA is published biannually in April and October by the Midwest
Archaeological Conference, Inc., and printed in the United States of America
by Altramira Press.

All manuscript material must be typed double-spaced
on one side of the sheet only, in Times New Roman 12pt font.

Use white bond or copy paper only.

Submit an original plus three copies.
-
Include an abstract of less than 150 words that
specifically refers to text material.

Footnotes are not permitted.
-
Text citations are set in parentheses, e.g.
(Author 2003:359).
-
References are listed alphabetically by author
and in ascending chronological order.
-
Number all figures consecutively and provide
a caption for each.
-
Tables should be typed on separate pages, numbered
sequentially, and given headings.
-
Upon acceptance, all papers must be provided
on a CD in either Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect .
-
All artwork must be submitted as JPG files (for
gray scale images or photographs, 300 dpi minimum, 5 inches
wide) or as TIFF files (for line drawings, 300 dpi minimum,
1200 dpi strongly preferred, 5 inches wide).
