Passport in Time (PIT) is a volunteer archaeology
and historic preservation program of the USDA Forest Service. In
operation since the late 1980's, PIT gives everyone the chance to
participate in historic survey, restoration and archaeological research
on many USFS properties. Projects change yearly and volunteers may
